Hello!
I am an Assistant Professor (Term) in Experimental and Agricultural Economics at Iowa State University (ISU).
I earned my Ph.D. in Economics, along with a Graduate Certificate in Data-Driven Food, Energy, and Water Decision-Making and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching from Iowa State University, my M.S. in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics from Michigan State University, and my undergraduate diploma (B.S. & M.S.) in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development from the Agricultural University of Athens.
I am an applied microeconomist focusing on food and health economics, consumer and producer behavior, and industrial organization. I employ applied microeconometrics and experimental economics methods to answer questions relevant to economists, data analysts, and policymakers.
My current work centers on the economics of food insecurity and access, examining how food environments shape nutritional inequality across U.S. communities, and on the behavioral foundations of economic rationality, including how emotion regulation and cognitive ability influence decision-making.
My CV is available here.
